Boonie Stomp!
Every Saturday a group from the community gets together to "stomp through the boonies" or hike through the rough terrain that is Guam! Most often they blaze their own trail and would be better off with a machete or something to cut down that sword grass. I definitely left with some scratches & bruises.
But the views were worth it!

Some of the older guys that organize the hike, have been doing it for over 20 years! They still had to figure out what the best way down to the water was...

this is your best post to-date. Now I *really* want to experience Guam! (although I think I will skip the boonie stomp in favor of sitting on the beach with a book in 1 hand and a fruity drink in the other)
